Jfashion: Metallics with Texture

Jfashion

Hello, guys! How's it going? I hope all is well with all of you.
It has been a while since my last blog post. Definitely was not on hiatus, in fact, I'm active on Instagram. It's just that blog post takes time and I'm really having a difficulty due to our (the 'boyfriendtographer') conflict schedules. You know me, I'm particular with regards to the quality and timing - insert Ms. Perfectionist.

I'm happy that I get to share with you what I wore during our church anniversary. Take a closer look at the dress.
styling metallic with lace dress

It's actually a glossy rose gold underneath mixed with lace texture on top of it. I got a picture of this inside the venue with low lighting and just using a flash, the rose gold metallic cloth really shine underneath. But, I love how the lace softens it. It's just a perfect mix. I have to mention my sandal as well, which is an exact match for this dress. It's when you can say, a glossy on-point outfit.
Also, as you can see there's this lace that gathers at the middle left side of the dress. Honestly, there's more to that which flows downwards. So, I was like, 'I don't want to look overly dressed. Not now, not ever.'haha..I'm just exaggerating. Then I end up cutting those excess lace that's hanging and voila! Coz' sometimes you get to be your own 'tailoress' or whatever you may call it. :D

A little trivia, the sandal and bracelet are gifts from my eldest sister while the dress is preloved from my other sister which she lovingly gave to me.haha. Big sisters are the best! Oh! and the beautiful bag is also from my eldest sister which is supposedly a gift for my mom but mom is not using it so I had to gloriously make use of it.haha. It's good that you don't have to spend a lot in order to look good. Make use of the available resources that you have, for sure there will be a lot.

When you want to look elegant at a party but in a subtle way then this kind of outfit is perfect for you. I hope you like these pieces.  Lookbook style post is always my favorite. Be sure to check out for more!
